Family Tracker is a versatile application that enables users to monitor the location of family members, including spouses and children, providing peace of mind by allowing monitoring at any time, given the family member's device is accessible. The app is compatible across multiple platforms, ensuring seamless tracking capabilities spanning various devices—details can be found on our website.

With the introduction of iOS 4 and supported hardware, Family Tracker operates continuously in the background, eliminating the need for user intervention during tracking sessions. This ensures real-time updates of GPS locations, even post-device rebooting.

How It Works:

 <li>Simply install Family Tracker on the iPhone or iPad you wish to monitor.</li>
 <li>Monitor locations through either a web browser or via the Family Tracker application installed on your own device.</li>
</ul>

For devices lacking multitasking capabilities (such as older iPhones 3G and iPads), Family Tracker still offers tracking functionalities. Users can "ping" another iPhone using a free Apple Push Notification, which will trigger an alert that sounds on the target device—even if it is in standby mode. Once acknowledged, the GPS position will be recorded and displayed on a map. If tracking via an iPhone, users will receive a notification confirming acceptance of the ping.

The application does not require knowledge of your iPhone’s cell number; notifications are sent using email addresses instead. These free Apple Push Notifications operate globally as long as the tracked device maintains internet connectivity through cellular data or Wi-Fi.

Please Note: Continuous GPS usage in the background can significantly diminish battery longevity. To mitigate this, we advise users to configure Family Tracker's GPS settings to "Driving Only," which updates location only with substantial positional changes, thereby conserving battery life.

A complimentary trial period of 14 days is available; subsequent subscription options include $1.99/month, $5.99 for three months, $9.99 for six months, or $19.99 per year. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle. Charges will be applied within 24 hours of renewal date.
